Here are three things to consider when planning summer fun:
- Jobs/ School/ Other Obligations
- Schedule these in first. Include appointments (the summer is a great time to take care of well visits and dental cleanings!).
- Vacations/ Staycations/ Other Planned Fun
- Hopefully you’ve had these planned for awhile, but if not, figure out where you can fit it in. Plan for packing, shopping, and prep time the day before, and for laundry and unpacking the day after a vacation.
- Make sure to leave open space for random hang-out time.
- Brainstorm what you hope to accomplish this summer.
- Ideas for Teens:

- Back to school shopping (include a haircut and stocking up on toiletries)
- Don’t forget your planner!
- Prioritize your goals. What HAS to get done this summer?
- Break these big goals down into small, manageable steps. Figure out where you can fit these small steps in around your obligations and planned fun.
