Teacher Lesson Planners

Teacher Lesson Planners

It’s that time of year again!

One of my favorite parts of the new school year is setting up a new teacher lesson planner. I like to have a lesson planner separate from my everyday planner. However, I do put school-related events that change or affect my normal schedule on my everyday planner. Then I use the lesson planner for everything else.

I really like having a format that looks like this, with plenty of space to put multiple preps. This layout has plenty of room to plan with small sticky notes (because we all know plans change). I prefer using multiple small sticky notes per class, so whatever we don’t get to one day can easily be moved to the next day. Sticky note lesson plans can just be changed so easily.

I have used the Erin Condren teacher lesson planner, a generic lesson planner from Target (no idea what brand), random printed calendar pages in a binder, and a Teach from the Heart planner most recently.

The Erin Condren had a lot of extras that I didn’t necessarily use, like graphing paper at the back, class logs, attendance pages, etc.
